1:30 pm Program begins in the Salkind Center Gym

Welcome remarks, a special 50th Anniversary video,
Urban singers and birthday cupcakes! 

2:00 pm Jazz sextet Mean to Me in the Salkind Center Gym, comprising Urban alumni and friends Judy Butterfield ('08), Aaron Cohn ('01), Scott Foster, Cairo McCochran, David Shaff and Ben Slater ('07).

2:15, 2:45, 3:15, 3:45 Student-led campus tours

Meet at the Student Tours tent on Page Street for a guided tour of both campuses!

2:30 pm Fall Theater Production preview of Spring Awakening in the Page Campus Gumption Theater

FAQ

Who is invited to the Celebration Weekend?

We have invited you - our Urban Community members, current/past parents, alumni, students, current/former trustees, current/former faculty, staff, friends and neighbors to join the festivities!

What should I wear?

Wear your weekend casual clothes. Gym shoes are required when walking on the new gym floor.

Where do I check in when I arrive?

Please check in on the street in front of 1563 Page Street. You will see the Urban welcome tent. Page Street between Masonic and Ashbury will be closed to car traffic on the day of our event.

Do I need to attend the whole event from start to finish?

No. However, you won’t want to miss the very special program kickoff in the Salkind Center Gym at 1:30 pm. You can drop in at any time during the celebration. Please enter either building from Page Street.

Will parking be provided?

Yes, limited event parking will be offered at the nearby City College of San Francisco - John Adams Center parking lot at Masonic and Hayes. We highly encourage everyone to take public transportation or carpool.

Will food be served?

Yes. Light refreshments and beverages will be served in both the Salkind Center and Page Campus.
